'Champ' is a village-level lieu-dit in northern Gevrey-Chambertin, near Brochon. It is a cool site, and often features old vines in various domaines.

Type of agricultural practice : sustainable agriculture with products authorised for the French organic label and biocontrol products. No herbicides. Certified HEV (High Environmental Value).
Fermentation: cold pre-fermentation in stainless steel tanks, indigenous yeasts, mostly pumping overs, all destemmed. No filtration, no fining.
Ageing: 15 months in barrels (30% new oak from tonnellerie Cadus and tonnellerie Ermitage), then 2 months in a tank.
The Producer
Domaine Le Guellec-Ducouet is based in Brochon, Burgundy, helmed by Michaël Le Guellec and Arnaud Ducouet. The project was founded in 2018 alongside the inheritance and revival of the 3.7ha family estate. Michaël and Arnaud adopt sustainable and low-intervention practices promote balance and biodiversity that brings out the best in the terroir of their vineyards. With traditional methods combined with modern expertise, the estate is certified High Environmental Value (HVE 3) and delivers refined, precise wines with strong aging potential.
